The 2007 Regular Session of the Virginia
General Assembly adjourned on February 24, 2007. The Reconvened
Session will be held April 4, 2007 to consider bills acted upon
by the Governor.
Sixty-eight (68) bills of interest to PBA members were tracked
this session. As of adjournment, twenty-seven (27) had passed,
with one being incorporated into another bill. Ten (10) of these
bills related to judicial appointments approved by the Assembly.
The remaining bills were left in committee to die.
Here are just a few of the bills important to PBA members,
