On April 29, 2011 Deputy Adam Cooper of the York- Poquoson Sheriff's office and President of the Colonial Chapter presented Lieutenant Jeff Kerr of the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office and the Heroes Live Forever Cycling Team with a $500.00 donation from the SSPBA in an effort to help Jeff and his team meet their goal for the 2011 Police Unity Tour which occurs later this month. Jeff was very appreciative of the donation and said that this helped them reach their goal for the ride. The Heroes Live Forever Cycling Team was founded in March of 2006 by Team Director Jeff Kerr.  The team participates in the Police Unity Tour and MS 150 Bike Tour every year and is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
